In April 2002, Rosewood's Ashes received one of four "Damn Good Book" awards at Florida: The Mystery Connection convention. Other authors receiving this award were Les Standiford, Carolina Garcia-Aguilera, and Tim Dorsey.

I am an engineer and the author of the Tory Travers mystery series, featuring a female engineer and set in El Paso, Texas, and Las Cruces, New Mexico. The books in the series are:

"Along for the Ride" is a non-series short story I wrote in the Mystery Writers of America anthology Blood on Their Hands. Edited by New York Times bestselling author Lawrence Block, released July 1, 2003. 

A Taste of Murder : Diabolically Delicious Recipes from Contemporary Mystery Writers, a recipe book by Jo Grossman and Robert Weibezahl contains a recipe that I contributed.
